Again, some major play with the eyes.

It's funny, I've actually gotten asked about it a few times: Why the eyes? Well, I'm starting to think that it's mostly because out of all parts of the human body, especially the face, the eyes are the most expressive thing. You can look at someone's eyes and see past a fake smile, or into one's soul, or just even convey words and thoughts without speaking it.

And it always seems that her eyes come up when I draw eyes in particular. I know why, but at the same time I don't.


Either way, this is the drawing, Heartfelt. I'm curious as to what the answer is. I'm curious to hear what's hiding behind those eyes again. I doodled this out part of the way today and felt that it needed to be fully realized.

Also, fun to note, is that I kind of varied up the style a little, bringing in good ol' sketchiness into play for a more rough and not quite so stylized look. Don't know if it was a better choice, but...
